well its been a week so i think its about time i updated on comic con.
Comic was huge. I was amazed at the diversity of interest it has. it has anime, comics, tv, etc. All i can say is there is a line for everything, even to buy stuff. I was on a mission to get my friend a rare King Greyskull which is exclusive to Comic-con. I was in line and when i was about to purchase it, the lady ask if I had a ticket. I said no she said I had to go upstairs to get a ticket to be able to purchase the product. I was like OMG ur kidding me?! The dealers room was huge and very crowded. We went to the Superman Panel, Street Fighter Panel, and of course the Avatar Panel. Avatar was the main reason I went. The panel was very huge. I saw all but the last 2 episodes before I went to the panel. Mike and Brian were there and we watched the last 2 episodes together. It was pretty cool with everyone cheering and I was surrounded by hundreds if not thousands of Avatar fans. Then there was a Q and A session and here's what I got out of it.
1. Zuko was suppose to find his mom at the end, but the Mike decided not to put it in there.
2. They called what Aang did at the end " Unbending" where he takes away their bendingpowers and he can do it more than once.
3. There's gonna be a live action Avatar movie and more comics.
4. There's gonna be a MMORPG of Avatar which they had a demo of it at the nickelodeon booth.
5. Yes this is the final season.. no more avatar ;_;
6. There is no Air book cuz he already learned it :)
We also saw an alternate ending / season 4 that they created lol.

We also got to meet the creator of Street Fighter and I got his autograph. I woke up early to go line up for the Avatar autograph session. I guess they give out tickets to those and only a few were chosen. When the line was moving these guys cut in front of me but I was happy that they didn't pull out a winning ticket. It was my turn and i took a while but lo and behold.. " i got the winning ticket" lol I was so excited and happy. so around 1pm I had to go line up for the autograph session. The rule was 1 autograph and only 1 and to keep it short to keep the line moving. so when it was my turn I said hi to them and they said hi to me. They seemed really cool and laid back. They noticed the Avatar shirt that I got from the panel and they asked what i thought of the panel. I told them I was watched all but the last 2 episodes of Avatar because I wanted to watch it on the big screen at Comic con. they were like wow thats cool!! and they asked if i liked it. I was like yeah I liked it a lot even though I was a Zutara fan lol and Brian said he was too. So he asked me my name and I said Vilay ( lol keep in mind i had to be short but they kept talking to me). They also asked how I got into avatar so i told them the truth ( i couldnt lie to the creators) and we started talking. I swear I took like 5 or 10 minutes cuz the lady kept hinting me to hurry up but I didn't want to leave cuz i was hangin out with them lol. I found out they were into video games too. so when it was time for me to leave, they said it was nice to meet u and they both shook my hand and I got a pic with them. They also gave me 3 autograph posters lol. I was only expecting one and they made Joaquim Dos Santos signed it too since he was next to them. It was great to meet them. They are really down to earth and just wanted to hang out. I guess since it was mostly girls and kids, it was rare to see a guy into Avatar but they were excited I was. oh yeah and the third box set will come out soon.

I also got to see Rain Wilson ( Dwight) from the office but just barely. I saw Hayden Pennetieree ( Heroes) but she was surrounded by security. She was really short lol Oh and I was also on G4 coverage of comic con. I was in the background when jason from attack of the show was interviewing someone. I was looking at the speed racer mangas lol
I also got to hang with my friend Chrissy who I haven't seen in a while which was cool. I guess I was her bag whore for a while but I didn't mind lol I was mostly around the square enix booth looking at the new Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts figures while we waited for the Capcom cosplay contest. The only downside of the con was that our hotel was 7 miles away and we had to take the trolley back and forth. Next year I will definitely stay closer and I really liked Comic con. It was like the con of the year for me.I

Today I turn 28. It's not something I'm proud of. A lot has happened this year with a lot of changes in my life. Some good and some bad. I just hope I don't lose my hair by the time i get to 30. I'm not planning to do much today i guess. My sister is throwing a small bbq with friends and rockband. guess it is good in a way to help take my mind off things and just enjoy life. Usually at this time, I remininse what has happen during the past year and this year a lot has. I just hope the rest of the year gets better and happiness will find me soon.

So I officially said goodbye to the phillipiness today and became an American Citizen. It felt good but now I can't use that excuse " I'm not a citizen" when i am asked to register to vote or for jury duty. I've been catching up on the last few episodes of Avatar. When I really like a series I take my time watching it and I really like Avatar. but so far the last episodes are like OMG!!! lots of Zuko in it too :) I guess I'll finish it on the plane ride down to San Diego on Wednesday. I want to watch it all before I go to the Avatar panel on Friday and hopefully get to meet the creators. :) I might go watch Dark Knight tmw at the IMAX which is pretty cool. I finally got to watch the first one tonight lol. other than that, i'll be gone till next Monday which is a much needed vacation from school, work, and life. A lot have changed in the past months. Change is good.

So because of school and finals I can finally see the series finale of Avatar. ;_; I should watch it before I go to comic con. I turned on the tv today and it was showing it lol but I had to not watch it so i can watch the ones before. oh yesterday i went to my sisters rummage sale at her church and got seinfield season 1,2,3 for 10 bucks on DVD. :) Today is me and my sisters " Welcome to the jungle.. er America party".
